Day of the Mentor was established in 1988 to bring awareness to the service of mentoring and to motivate members of our community to get involved and make a difference in the life of a child. This rewarding event matches caring adults with youth to build lives, relationships, and community during a day of career exploration and fun!
AGENDA
8:00 am Mentors arrive for sign-in, packet pick-up, and opening program
9:00 am Little Buddies meet Mentors.
9:30 am – 11:30 am Little Buddies visit their Mentor’s workplace
12:00 am – 1:15 pm Little Buddies and Mentors return for lunch and games
1:15 pm Closing remarks
Our goal is to convene 100 Mentors and Mentees for the day. You can support the work of Big Buddy by becoming a Mentor for the day or by sponsoring a Mentee to participate in Day of the Mentor.
