Day of the Mentor was established in 1998 to bring awareness to the service of mentoring and to motivate members of our community to get involved and make a difference in the life of a child.
This rewarding event matches caring adults with youth to build lives, relationships, and community during a day of career exploration and fun;

Our goal is to convene 75 Mentors and Mentees for the day. You can support the work of Big Buddy by becoming a Mentor for the day or by sponsoring a Mentee to participate in Day of the Mentor.

About day of the Mentor
The event gathers individuals from various businesses and industries to become Mentors for the day. Mentors sign up to spend one-on-one time with a mentee from 3rd – 8th grade. The Mentors meet their mentees at breakfast, take them to their workplace for a workplace tour, meet some of the office staff and share in some of the day-to-day activities of the business.
