Welcome
Big Buddy Program is a youth organization that serves over 8,000 children per year through mentoring, tutoring, after-school programming, leadership training, athletic activities, summer enrichment, weekend activities, and targeted truancy programs.
What started out as a psychology class’s semester project at Louisiana State University is now a fully developed non-profit organization that has been serving the Baton Rouge community for 30 years.

Evening of Champions
The Big Buddy Program is proud to announce that it will be hosting its first-ever “Evening of Champions.” This event is a celebration of champions on and off the field, a night to share time and to share dreams.
“Evening of Champions” will be held Tuesday, November 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the LSU Lod Cook Alumni Center.

Day of the Mentor
The Day of the Mentor was established in 1998 to bring heightened awareness to the service of mentoring and to motivate members of our community to get involved and make a difference in the life of a child.
The Big Buddy Program will host the 10th Annual Day of the Mentor, Friday, October 31st, 2008 from 8:30am to 1:30pm at the Catholic Life Center, 1880 S. Acadian Thruway.
