Summer 2007

Last summer The Big Buddy Program’s WordPlay Teen Writing Project and City at Peace - Baton Rouge collaborated to offer a three-week intensive camp for teen writers and performers.  The camp focused on creative writing and performance, offering opportunities for teens to work in small, focused areas of study under the mentorship of accomplished teachers and artists.  City at Peace and WordPlay are closely linked through a commitment to teen voices and the belief that we can empower our teens with artistic and civic responses to the world’s problems.

This summer the archi-TEXTS institute is back for another challenging summer of high-energy workshops.  Please look for more information on this page in the near future.
